Founder & Apostle: Apostle A. L. Hewitt
"There's a good work, then there's a God work".
Apostle A. L. Hewitt, a bond slave, the prisoner and servant of the Lord, A. L. Hewitt was born in Houston. He attended Nat. Q. Henderson, E. O. Smith and Phillis Wheatley School in Houston, Texas.
His childhood consisted of a hard life in the his parents illness would not allow them to care for him. Therefore, his Grandmother Josie Mae Benton and his aunt Charlene Hutcherson and others, cared for him. The last family that received him into their home. Mr. Charles and Mrs. Rose Green. The proprietors of Cafe's. Liquor Stores, and night Clubs. Being, raised among hustlers, drug dealers, and pimps and gangsters.
He excelled in the life of crime and who's life God spared, by his mercy. But when it pleased God who separated him from his mother's womb to revealed his son Jesus, in him and to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Saved and taught order under the tutelage of the Late Bishop L. J. James. He was the founder and Presiding Bishop of the church of Jesus Christ from God. Apostle A. L. Hewitt has preached the gospel in various states in America and will preach around the world.
Apostle A. L. Hewitt has established churches in Houston, Tyler, Palestine, Jasper and Forth Worth, Texas. Apostle A. L. Hewitt is married to Pastor Evangeline Burton Hewitt, who is laboring with him in the Gospel. I thanks God for her as she walk into Go' divine purpose for her life.

Pastor Evangeline Burton Hewitt
Jeremiah 3:15 Says “I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
Born to late Nathaniel Shepherd and the Juanita D. Burton. The baby of four children born to Juanita Burton. Later, being adopted by my grandparents Rev. & Ms. Clarence Burton. The beginning of the journey that brings me to destiny.
Accepting Christ at an early age at Crosby Temple Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of the Late Rev. P. S, Bonney and later laboring under Elder Thomas J. Albright. Serving in many positions such as Sunday School Teacher, Usher, Choir Member and Armor Bearer to Elder Bonney wife. While relocating to the Baytown area our family became members of McGowen Temple C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Superintendent O. J. Jenkins. In this administration, Young Women Christ Counsel was birth, young women were saved, delivered, and filled with the Holy Ghost. Careers were developed, and young women re-dedicated their lives to God, and were made whole. Upon the death of Superintendent O. J. Jenkins, he was replaced by his son Pastor Willie A. Jenkins. Continuing to work for the Lord as a Prayer Warrior, Teacher, motivational speaker, Mentor, and other assignments as assigned by leadership.
Looking for a greater move of God, with permission of leadership we joined God’s Word of Deliverance Apostolic Church under the leadership of Pastor Betty Joyce Crowder. During my preparation of becoming a Pastor, life had many twists and turns. The Paton was transferred to Apostle A. L. Hewitt where he heard God for promotion to Pastor. On, March 25, 2018, he ordained me as Pastor under the leadership of the Founder/Sr. Pastor/Apostle A. L. Hewitt.
I attended Crosby Independent School District, graduated from Massey Business College. Certificate of completion in Paralegal Training Instituted, also studied Lee College. Obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies at Grand Canyon University. Current attending Grand Canyon University, in the Master program.
The proud mother of Juanita (Safford Lott), Aaron (Cody), Enos (Danchell), and Angel Dawson. The grandmother of sixteen and the great grandmother of four. God has been good.
